Safari Extension for Tiled Tab Workspaces
TiledBrowser works as a Safari companion. The extension sends tab URLs from Safari, while the native macOS app opens them in tiled WebKit panes.
What the extension does
The extension focuses on handoff. Choose 2 to 4 open Safari tabs, then send that focused group into TiledBrowser so the pages can be arranged inside a dedicated tiled workspace.
First-run setup
TiledBrowser includes onboarding that explains how to enable the companion extension. If Safari opens without showing Extensions settings, choose Safari > Settings > Extensions and enable TiledBrowser.
What happens inside the native app
Once the URLs arrive, the Mac app manages the panes, layouts, saved workspaces, viewport presets, and restoration.
What TiledBrowser does not do
TiledBrowser does not replace Safari or modify Safari's own tab strip. It is a companion app for the moments when several pages need to stay visible together.
Privacy and sessions
TiledBrowser opens the same URLs from Safari in its own native app context. Some services may ask you to sign in again inside TiledBrowser. When a Google or Microsoft authentication flow is unlikely to work in an embedded browser, TiledBrowser provides guidance and a quick way to open the page in Safari.
